Position Overview
The Project Technician / Live Production & Streaming Technician supports Resorts International’s digital media ecosystem by managing the technical execution of video content across studios, live productions, and on-location shoots. This role blends broadcast engineering, live streaming, video production, and post-production to ensure high-quality content delivery across digital, social, and marketing platforms.
Location: Las Vegas (Hybrid; ~2 days onsite, flexible around events and shoots)
Pay Rate: $40 - $60/hr. on W2 (based on relevant experience)
Contract: 3 months with strong potential for extension or full-time conversion
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily technical operations for interactive content productions including studio shoots, live streams, on-property activations, and remote productions.
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot cameras, lighting, audio systems, and streaming infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure all production systems meet broadcast-quality, brand, and technical standards.
- Operate as a broadcast/production technician during live streams and recordings, including real-time switching, monitoring, overlays, and quality control.
- Support streaming platforms and hardware such as OBS, vMix, Blackmagic ATEM, or similar tools.
- Edit and deliver video content across digital, social, and paid media channels, incorporating visual overlays, lower-thirds, and on-screen graphics.
- Produce simple motion graphics and visual elements to support marketing campaigns and studio content.
- Collaborate with producers, studio/AV technicians, content leads, marketing teams, and property teams to plan and execute production schedules.
- Coordinate workflows and asset delivery to ensure timely and accurate content distribution.
- Maintain strong communication across departments for smooth production operations.
- Ensure all content aligns with Resorts brand guidelines, platform best practices, and technical specifications.
- Maintain a high standard of visual storytelling, framing, and editing across all deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or equivalent software.
- Hands-on experience with live streaming software and hardware (OBS, vMix, Blackmagic ATEM, etc.).
- Strong understanding of camera systems, lighting techniques, and audio production for both studio and field settings.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly in high-pressure, live production environments.
- Creative eye for visual storytelling and digital-first content.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively on multiple productions under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in video production, broadcast operations, or live streaming environments.
