Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to support transportation coordination and administrative operations. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound communications, schedule non-emergent transportation services, and ensure exceptional service delivery at every touchpoint.

FULLY IN OFFICE UNTIL TRAINING IS COMPLETE – THIS POSITION STARTS NEXT TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction & Support: Handle inbound calls from members, clients, and facilities to verify eligibility and coordinate transportation services; deliver exceptional service; conduct outbound calls to confirm trip details and follow-up on inquiries; and respond professionally to customer inquiries and complaints with proper documentation.
  • Transportation Coordination: Schedule trips using transportation management systems to ensure cost-effectiveness and contract compliance; provide daily scheduling support for Eligibility staff; and track and manage payments for replacement ID cards.
  • Administrative & Office Management: Accurately enter and maintain customer contact information in software systems; manage office supplies and vendor contacts; maintain vendor files and recommend alternative suppliers; and design and maintain electronic filing systems including document scanning and organization.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure all activities comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality standards.
  • Special Projects & Reception: Provide support for special projects and deliver professional reception coverage, maintaining a welcoming and organized front office environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Healthcare call center experience
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in data entry and office software systems
  • Experience in customer service or transportation coordination preferred
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
