Job Description
Position Overview
Salary: $65 per hour. Transform Labs is seeking a Product Manager to support a complex, long-term engagement with a national automotive client, as well as potential additional projects depending on need. Location: Candidates must live in Ohio or Michigan, as the role includes occasional on-site client visits in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in client interviews, workshops, and site visits to learn how the business operates today.
- Help document current-state workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ask clarifying questions to understand why processes exist and not just how they work.
- Assist in identifying downstream teams and systems affected by proposed changes.
- Assist in translating business goals into epics, features, and user stories.
- Draft and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Designers as requirements move into detailed documentation and design.
- Help identify assumptions in requirements and designs that need validation with the client.
- Support review cycles with internal teams and clients to close gaps early and avoid rework.
- Collaborate with engineers to understand technical constraints and feasibility.
- Support sprint readiness by ensuring upcoming work is clearly defined and reviewed.
- Help keep product work aligned with agreed-upon scope and business priorities.
- Support roadmap planning by tracking upcoming discovery, dependencies, and priorities.
- Assist with preparing materials for bi-weekly roadmap and prioritization discussions with the client.
- Learn how to think multiple sprints ahead so development teams are never blocked waiting for clarity.
Required Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, or a related role.
- Familiarity with Agile teams and software delivery lifecycles.
- Strong curiosity about how businesses operate and how technology can improve them.
- Comfortable asking questions, documenting processes, and synthesizing feedback.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn enterprise systems and complex workflows.
- Bachelors degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ERP, automotive, or enterprise software experience is a plus, but not required.
