Job Description

Position Overview

The Account Executive is responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets by securing new client appointments and building a robust sales pipeline through continuous prospecting. This role involves gathering client intelligence prior to the first appointment, developing tailored programs to meet client needs, and driving close rates through effective negotiation of pricing, products, and equipment options, as well as coordinating vital program demos.

Compensation: Salary range is $55,000 to $64,000. Uncapped monthly commission with on target earnings of $100,000-$120,000 annually, plus a monthly car allowance of $500 with mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets by developing a territory-specific growth plan.
  • Participate in targeted telemarketing, cold calling, drop-offs, and other selling strategies to secure prospective client appointments.
  • Update the sales software database daily/weekly as advised by Sales Management.
  • Prepare for client appointments by performing client research and tailoring sales materials.
  • Conduct meetings with prospective clients and implement appropriate follow-up meetings to complete the sales process.
  • Coordinate with client partners to meet timelines and deliverables for installations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 3+ years of business-to-business, outside sales experience focused on new account generation, preferably selling a service.
  • Proven success in developing new business and generating sales leads within an assigned sales territory.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Ability to influence decision makers at all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • A valid driver's license.
