Position Overview
Richardson Durum Milling, a division of Richardson International, is North America’s single largest durum miller specializing in durum and known for its Italgrani semolina flour manufactured and sold by U.S. Durum Milling Inc. Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Sanitarian to join our team at our St. Louis, MO Milling location. As a Sanitarian, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation through proactive inspection and thorough cleaning of the mill and all related system equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean work environment; sweeping floors, vacuuming, shoveling, hand brushing, light scraping, etc.
- Monitor and report plant conditions.
- Accurately complete all documentation.
- Operate in accordance with all food safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Able to follow directions and work independently without direct supervision.
- Ability to work in environments with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature extremes.
- Must be capable of lifting and stacking up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends.
