Job Description

Position Overview

Malone Home Care is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to provide in-home care. In this role, you will support clients with daily care routines and help improve their quality of life through flexible scheduling and dedicated service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist clients with mobility needs.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
  • Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or condition.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Run errands and provide transportation when needed.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Follow care plans to ensure all services are delivered with dignity and respect.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications

  • Active CNA Certification in Kentucky.
  • Previous experience in home care or an adult living facility.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and assist patients safely.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Current negative TB test or chest X-ray.
  • Hoyer lift experience.
