About the Role:
Join Comprehensive Kidney Care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Dialysis unit, where you will provide compassionate care in bedside and nursing home settings. Responsibilities:
- Administer dialysis treatments to patients in bedside and nursing home settings.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney disease management and dialysis procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in dialysis or critical care.
- Strong understanding of renal disease and dialysis procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
