Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
  • Maintain a neat appearance and good personal hygiene in compliance with CSI image standards.
  • Follow established safety, security, and quality guidelines along with CSI policies and procedures; report incidents immediately.
  • Utilize the CSI Loss Prevention process to preserve safety for yourself and others.
  • Ensure food safety hygiene with proper sanitation, food handling, preparation, storage, and disposal procedures.
  • Adhere to federal law and company standards for carding customers for age-restricted products.
  • Work professionally with vendors and contractors and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Follow proper kitchen and sanitation procedures during the cooking of KKC products.
  • Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and thanking all customers.
  • Conduct accurate and safe point-of-sale activities for both retail and fuel transactions.
  • Maintain and secure cash funds, performing cashier reconciliation at each shift’s end.
  • Perform consistent cleaning of both indoor and outdoor facilities.
  • Prepare food and hot beverage products while managing foodservice to maximize sales and minimize loss.
  • Actively promote store specials and other marketing programs.
  • Cross-check delivered goods for price accuracy and ensure shelves remain well-stocked.
  • Comply with local law requirements when filling vehicle fuel tanks (Oregon only).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions and to communicate effectively.
  • Available to work varied hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle challenging situations and exercise exceptional judgment.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Possession of up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law.
  • Must meet age requirements: at least 18 for California and Oregon locations; at least 21 for Washington, Graveyard shifts, and Management positions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.
