Lead DevOps Engineer

Position Overview

We are partnering with a growing product engineering team building a new cloud-native platform from the ground up. In this highly visible role, you’ll influence DevOps standards, automation, observability, and infrastructure strategy – with the opportunity to grow into team leadership as the environment matures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable deployments
• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code automation (Terraform preferred)
• Improve observability across logging, tracing, and metrics
• Promote DevOps best practices and mentor engineers across the team
• Help shape future architecture, security standards, and scaling strategy

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years DevOps / SRE experience in cloud-native environments
• Strong AWS background (serverless, containerization, networking, IAM)
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK
• CI/CD pipeline ownership (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodeBuild, etc.)
• Ability to lead, influence, and guide engineering peers
