In this role, you will assist with the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects for diverse sectors including mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Utilize reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological patterns, and topographical & geologic data for project planning and design.
- Recommend innovative approaches to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Apply engineering and advanced mathematics techniques in project design.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on various project tasks and assignments.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Entry to 2 years’ experience.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- EIT Certification or current registration for the FE exam.
- Relevant internship or professional experience in site/civil design including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

- Salary Range: Estimated range of $72,000 - $84,500, with variability based on work experience, location, market conditions, education, certifications, and other credentials. Participation in overtime and bonus programs may also apply.
