Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Community Healthcare Services Representative to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as a frontline liaison between patients and pain management specialist ensuring smooth communication and efficient management of patient care processes. Your energetic approach will help foster positive patient experiences while maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to healthcare regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in community health by supporting care coordination, insurance verification, and medical administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Market pain management services to underserved seniors with Medicare. Establish networking relationships with community leaders and senior residents to attract new patients and increase market share.
- Attain insurance information from interested patients to verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and assist with insurance verification using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
- Assist with appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and coordinating clinic visits to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Provide ongoing follow-up and monitoring services to insure patient satisfaction, patient retention, insure that follow-up visits are kept and develop referral opportunities.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate care plans and ensure seamless communication across departments while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and computer skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in community healthcare services marketing in underserved communities.
- Previous experience making healthcare marketing presentations.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills, deliver exceptional community healthcare marketing services.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
