Agency Recruiter - Japanese

Position Overview

We are seeking an Agency Recruiter (Japanese Bilingual) to source, interview, and select qualified candidates for our clients. In this role, you will drive the entire recruitment process – from understanding client hiring needs to candidate placement – while working mainly remote with occasional client visits. Compensation: DOE (50-70K + more) plus full benefit.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships; conduct intake meetings to determine candidate criteria.
• Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and networking.
• Screen resumes and interview candidates to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
• Manage candidate placement from offer negotiation through start date and prepare candidates for client interviews.
• Ensure a seamless recruitment process by scheduling interviews, gathering feedback, and maintaining detailed records.
• Adhere to legal compliance and document all candidate and client interactions accurately.
• Stay informed on market trends, salary expectations, and industry developments.
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking activities.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, or a sales-related role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and candidates simultaneously.
• A sales-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a staffing agency or recruitment firm.
