Job Description

Position Overview

As an Electrical Engineer at Lutron, you will contribute to impactful projects from the start and help maintain our market-leading position in smart lighting and shading systems. In this role, you may work in various technical areas including analog circuit design, microcontroller and RF hardware implementation, power electronics, use of active components like power MOSFETs, thyristors and integrated circuits, as well as design for electromagnetic compatibility, noise immunity, and thermal dissipation. You will collaborate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products for both commercial and residential use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design of circuits, including reliability analysis and testing
  • Development of theoretical models, simulations, and prototypes
  • Frequent collaboration with RF, mechanical, embedded, manufacturing, and supply chain engineers
  • Drive PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design process and product design reviews
  • Design for global standards and regulations
  • Development of technology for Lutron’s world-class manufacturing plants

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
  • 0-3 years' experience in a related field
  • Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time for inter-office collaboration, site visits, etc.
