Key Responsibilities
- Understand general accounting and auditing procedures based on the level of service provided
- Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of assurance engagements in accordance with RubinBrown Client Service Standards
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to other engagement team members
- Prepare fieldwork and financial statements as appropriate
- Identify performance improvement opportunities
- Maintain direct communication with clients
- Participate in the budget process
- Work on a variety of clients across various industries
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Strong technical skills with the ability to effectively utilize technology and a commitment to continuous learning
- Ability to meet challenging client requirements with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel)
