Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Brand Manager to join their remote-first marketing team. This critical role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive global marketing strategies to enhance brand equity, drive market share, and achieve ambitious growth targets for a portfolio of key consumer brands. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, leveraging data-driven insights to understand consumer behavior, identify market opportunities, and craft compelling brand narratives. Key responsibilities include developing annual marketing plans, managing advertising and promotional campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, traditional), overseeing product innovation and launch strategies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, product development, and regional marketing. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of FMCG dynamics, exceptional strategic thinking, creativity, and a proven ability to manage complex, global projects. This position offers the flexibility to work from any location within the US, supported by a robust digital collaboration infrastructure. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client's brands on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global brand strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Manage the global marketing budget and resource allocation effectively.
- Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Lead new product development and launch initiatives from a marketing perspective.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales, R&D, and regional teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Monitor brand performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Manage external agencies and partners effectively.
- Foster innovation and creativity in brand communication and activation.
- Present strategic plans and performance updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree: in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in brand management within the FMCG industry.
- Track Record: Proven track record of developing and executing successful global marketing strategies.
- Understanding: Strong understanding of consumer insights, market dynamics, and brand building principles.
- Digital Marketing: Experience with digital marketing, social media, and performance analytics.
