Location: City of Syracuse
Entry-Level Distribution Engineer at POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a motivated professional for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in Syracuse, New York. At POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level – Do Good. Have Fun. Build Success.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform distribution design, transmission project support, and various other tasks as assigned by utility clients.
- Engage in distribution design including physical design, electrical design, and material selection.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power option.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and client personnel.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with diverse personalities.
- Successful completion of the client's background screening process.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSEE or BSCE degree from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power option.
- Internship or co-op experience with a utility or industrial facility.
- Engineer in Training certificate (EIT) or successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
