Sr Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an advanced autonomy-focused engineering team developing next-generation autonomous maritime systems. This role will focus on the design, integration, testing, and deployment of mission-critical electrical subsystems supporting autonomous underwater and surface platforms.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams spanning software, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering to develop highly reliable systems operating in demanding real-world environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics, system interconnects, and wire harnesses
• Design and integrate sensors, power systems, and networking interfaces
• Support subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation
• Conduct design reviews and system verification activities
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver fully functional products
• Support development of ruggedized, fieldable autonomous systems

Desired Background

• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering or system integration
• Strong analog and digital electronics knowledge
• Experience with electrical schematics, wiring harnesses, and PCB systems
• Familiarity with interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, USB, or MODBUS
• Experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, and test equipment
• Background in autonomous systems, robotics, maritime, aerospace, or defense environments preferred
• Experience with CAD and PCB design tools such as Altium, NX, or SolidWorks
