Job Description
Position Overview
TD is seeking a Head of Commercial Product Marketing to lead a high-performing team, develop innovative marketing strategies, and drive execution of multi-complex portfolios for TD AMCB Commercial products and services. This role involves strategic planning, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure that marketing initiatives are relevant, compelling, and aligned with the overarching TD brand.
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Salary: $148,720 - $223,080 USD
Key Responsibilities
- Provides people management leadership by hiring top talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing performance and compensation decisions, and handling disciplinary actions as required.
- Oversees and leads TD AMCB's Commercial products and services portfolios, ensuring strategic oversight for large, complex, and diverse portfolios.
- Accountable for growing talent and developing skills and capabilities to achieve career and business objectives.
- Directs the design of marketing plans and customer-centric programs, leveraging a full range of resources and distribution channels to support business needs.
- Builds and maintains close relationships with senior business partners, ensuring clear communication of strategic marketing direction and governance.
- Leads and approves campaigns while overseeing marketing execution to ensure proper stakeholder approvals and strategy implementation.
- Provides coaching, mentorship, and guidance to marketing practitioners, business leaders, and executives.
- Manages overall discipline and strategy within the function, aligning practices to enterprise standards and best practices.
- Acts as a strategic partner to the leadership team on portfolio management and financial planning while identifying operational efficiencies and emerging trends.
- Facilitates key strategic discussions and provides thought leadership, including the development of strategic roadmaps and long-term goals.
- Sets operational team direction and collaborates across functions to execute on shared goals.
- Focuses on longer-range planning for the functional area (e.g., 12 months or greater).
- Leverages customer insights to coach the team, protect the brand, and influence business strategy across marketing initiatives.
- Supports shareholder and employee/team accountabilities by developing strategic business plans, managing budgets, and fostering a high-performing, diverse team.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in marketing, with advanced knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, and consulting principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing budgets, P&L, and resource allocation along with forecasting initiatives and developing strategic plans.
- Proven ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities with a strong focus on talent development and performance management.
- Solid understanding of current and emerging competitor and market trends, risk management environments, standards, and regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and computer applications including MS Office.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines and handling confidential information with discretion.
