Sr Strategic Finance Analyst (Corp Reporting - Technical)

Position Overview

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly by giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without hidden fees. As part of the Strategic Finance team, you will drive key financial planning and analysis initiatives. In this role, you will lead the migration of offline models to Anaplan, collaborate cross-functionally, and use quantitative insights to inform company strategy. This is a remote opportunity for U.S. candidates (Grade: USA28).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead migration of offline models in Excel and Google Sheets to Anaplan (Forecasting Tool)
• Own day-to-day maintenance of the Anaplan model, including formula development, model building, and report design
• Partner with Strategic Finance to identify reporting pain points and implement solutions
• Lead design workshops and discovery of new use cases
• Collaborate with counterparts in Finance and People to automate processes and reporting
• Contribute to cross-functional and company-wide systems initiatives
• Support key strategic finance processes such as annual planning and monthly forecasts
• Drive design and implementation of SQL databases for financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in FP&A in a high-growth environment
• Experience with Anaplan, Adaptive, or related planning tools
• Proficiency in Python, including the ability to build data pipelines
• High proficiency in SQL
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, or other reporting tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous work environment
