Position Overview

You will work on various infrastructure projects with a focus on design, analysis, and consulting, contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to design projects by taking responsibility for design elements on civil engineering projects, including site planning, grading, drainage, and utility design under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Develop advanced engineering calculations and documentation: prepare complex calculations, detailed drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other tools; support the review of technical reports.
- Conduct site assessments and data collection: perform site visits to gather data, verify project feasibility, and ensure adherence to design standards and best practices.
- Manage project coordination and compliance: support project schedules and documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with permitting processes.
- Collaborate and provide mentorship: actively participate in cross-functional meetings, work with contractors and consultants, and offer guidance to junior engineers.
- Support design quality and regulatory compliance by upholding the highest industry standards.
- Engage in research and development: stay updated on industry standards and emerging technologies to drive innovative project solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant civil engineering design experience
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification; PE license preparation in progress
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office Suite
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations
- Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to perform site visits, including climbing ladders and lifting up to 15 pounds of equipment
