Position Overview

Salary: 16.65 - 24.14 / hour
Schedule: Full time (Monday - Friday, day shift, no nights, no on-call, no weekends, no holidays).

Key Responsibilities

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of the patient encounter during or immediately after the service encounter.
• Assist the provider with navigating the medical record.
• Locate information for review.
• Research information as requested by the provider.
• Perform other related job functions as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Experience Required: Minimum one-year experience as a scribe or previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting required

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of medical terminology experience preferred
• Colorectal specialty experience preferred
• Medical Scribe Certification (Preferred)
• Medical Terminology Course Preferred
