Reconstruction Sales Representative (Indianapolis, IN)

Position Overview

Join Smith+Nephew as a Reconstruction Sales Representative (Indianapolis, IN) and become a technical consultant in the Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction portfolio. You will work collaboratively with key podiatric and orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, and other healthcare professionals to convert physicians/accounts, provide clinical case coverage in the operating room, and deliver first-class technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Make sales calls and convert physicians/accounts through technical expertise in total joint reconstruction.
• Provide clinical case coverage in the operating room, including training surgeons on Smith+Nephew products and the CORI robotic surgical & navigation system.
• Work cross-divisionally to increase product awareness and adoption.
• Develop and execute an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet/exceed quota.
• Build positive relationships with surgeons, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and hospital administration to deliver trusted, data-driven solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience in sales within the medical device industry.
• Proven track record selling or converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products.
• Experience leading or mentoring team members and new sales representatives.
