KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Industry Marketing, Consumer & Retail to join our Marketing team and lead strategic initiatives for the Consumer & Retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the “Go to Market” (GTM) strategy and overarching story for KPMG's Consumer and Retail industry.
  • Manage the coordination and execution of an integrated cross-functional marketing plan to establish brand, support relationship development, and drive growth with target audiences and sales channels.
  • Execute the sector's thought leadership strategy across an omni-channel approach including digital, social media, video, podcast, webinar, blogs, association affiliation, and tradeshow sponsorships.
  • Partner with Field Marketing, Hub Marketing, Communications, Media Relations, and the Industry analyst community to augment brand reach.
  • Perform market research to inform strategic Point of View (POV) documents as critical industry changes occur.
  • Diagnose client and prospect needs, translate them into qualifications and use cases, and architect the positioning to solve critical client marketing opportunities.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in combined marketing and business within professional services or a similar corporate environment.
  • A Master's degree in business administration from an accredited college or university is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience in the Consumer and Retail space, with expertise in project management, internal client service, and budget management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, along with strong executive presence.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
