Job Description

Position Overview

At Leidos in Honolulu, HI, we are seeking Mechanical or Electrical Engineering students for the role of Power Delivery Engineering Intern. In this role, you will collaborate with senior engineers to solve real‐world challenges for utility grid customers while expanding your expertise in power delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate an interest in developing work packages for transmission, distribution, or substation engineering projects.
  • Assist with the preparation of project deliverables including engineered drawings, technical reports, project-related correspondence, and other documentation.
  • Support the team by developing processes and procedures to improve project execution efficiency.
  • Collaborate in a team setting to provide technical and project support for high voltage transmission and low voltage distribution projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university with a current GPA of 2.6 or higher.
  • Ability to work effectively in both a field and office setting.
