Senior Engineer - Cloud Automation

Overview:

As a Senior Engineer - Cloud Automation, you will be responsible for executing large-scale Genesys Cloud projects, providing expert-level support, and mentoring other engineers. You will also be accountable for Contact Center implementation and support during all stages of the project life cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Execute large-scale Genesys Cloud projects, including major upgrades, migration, and new feature rollouts
• Provide expert-level support and guidance for complex technical challenges, including troubleshooting, systems integrations, and performance tuning
• Mentor and lead other engineers, fostering a collaborative environment by providing technical guidance and supporting professional development within the team
• Accountable for Contact Center implementation and support during all stages of the project life cycle
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with internal team, other IT teams, Customers, Clients, and Partners
• Analyze existing and new voice and data networks (as needed) and recommend solutions
• Create/modify artifacts and deliverables, including the change management process
• Follow department implementation standards and Change control processes
• Work unscheduled hours in case of emergency work/outages

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Telecommunication/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent professional technical experience
• Extensive experience with Genesys Cloud, including advanced configuration, architecture design, and systems integrations
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring senior technical teams
• Good technical problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in troubleshooting challenging configurations
• Call flow development experience in Genesys Architect tool
• Proficiency in software development in Java and C#.NET, Python, PHP, web application development scripting, tools, and methods
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with sensitivity to the audience and content of discussion
