Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic CMO (VP Marketing or Senior Director level candidates welcome) for a remote USA role at a small business specializing in online training courses, eLearning, SaaS, and coaching services. Headquartered in the Mid-Northeast with an entirely home office–based team, our company prides itself on an excellent culture and low staff turnover. The ideal candidate will have delivered D2C growth through performance media, direct response advertising, paid search, email marketing, video content, and compelling sales copy, while collaborating with sales, coaching, events, technology, data analytics, and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement direct-to-consumer marketing strategies to drive exponential growth.
  • Oversee performance media, paid search, email campaigns, video content, and creative sales copy that convert.
  • Lead a small yet brilliant internal marketing and sales team while ensuring compliant brand awareness development.
  • Collaborate across operations, coaching and training, events, technology, data analytics, and customer service to enhance the overall customer journey.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and strategic oversight to transform business processes and customer acquisition tactics.

Required Qualifications

  • Full-time senior marketing experience at one or more companies for 3-5+ years each.
  • Proven track record of doubling (or more) sales revenue—from approximately less than $20MM to $40MM, $70MM, or higher.
  • Expertise in driving D2C growth across the entire online sales funnel and customer acquisition channels.
  • Experience targeting individual entrepreneurs and first-time business owners with high-ticket events, mastermind memberships, or coaching programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the online training, eLearning, SaaS, or coaching industry.
  • Previous roles as VP Marketing or Senior Director with a successful D2C growth record.
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel marketing, including performance media and direct response strategies.
