Position Overview

NextEra Energy Resources is one of America’s largest wholesale electricity generators, harnessing diverse energy sources to power progress. In the role of Regional Solar Site Manager & Energy Storage III at Rumble Solar, you will assume responsibility for overseeing all operational facets related to the maintenance and repair of the solar plant as well as leading the operations and maintenance of multiple distributed generation solar and storage sites in the Enid, Oklahoma area. Your chief priority is ensuring team safety while maximizing performance and profitability through strategic enhancements, improved diagnostic capabilities, and overall operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will embody strong leadership, possess a background in business or engineering with significant experience in utility-scale solar operations, demonstrate proficiency in network infrastructure and quality initiatives (including certification as a Six Sigma green belt or equivalent), and excel in cross-functional, team-oriented environments.

Location: Near Minco, Oklahoma and distributed sites in the Enid, Oklahoma area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with all Power Generation Division (PGD) operational model processes and corporate policies, including adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Leads by example, upholding PGD shared values and promoting a culture of safety and excellence in the field.
  • Monitors, controls, and forecasts plant budgets while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Maintains company-supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling to support optimal operations.
  • Completes required reports and paperwork utilizing computer-based applications.
  • Performs additional collateral duties and other job-related tasks as assigned in support of the PGD portfolio.
  • Enforces Operational Safety Policy Instructions and ensures field work complies with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Engages in and leads Business Lean Six Sigma processes and projects to drive operational improvements.
  • Recruits, nurtures, retains, and guides on-site resources to uphold professional standards and ensure team development.
  • Assumes accountability for timely and accurate safety, environmental, and financial reporting, including inverter availability.
  • Collaborates with internal NextEra stakeholders to identify and implement solutions for both planned and unplanned maintenance, improvement projects, and development initiatives.
  • Serves as a positive and professional representative of NextEra Energy within the community and in customer interactions.
  • Oversees the performance of solar utility and distributed generation field operations as per contractual scopes.
  • Travels as needed to support regional assets.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience Required: 2+ years
  • Leadership Experience: 0+ years
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
