Entry Level Environmental Engineer

Position Overview

D&B Engineers and Architects is hiring an Entry Level Environmental Engineer. Salary: $55,000 – $65,000
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 Hour Workday

Key Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, work on a wide variety of environmental projects alongside scientists, geologists, engineers, and project managers.
• Perform design and construction oversight for sub-slab depressurization systems and vapor barriers, UST/AST design, remedial design, environmental compliance projects, petroleum investigation/remediation, and subsurface investigation projects.
• Conduct field work including soil/groundwater/soil vapor sampling, air monitoring, water disinfection and lead testing, monitoring well installation, and drilling oversight.

Required Qualifications

• Education: At least a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience Required: 0-2 years of experience in environmental engineering or consulting.
• Willingness and ability to complete field work, which may involve climbing elevated structures, descending into excavations, entering confined spaces, and working near heavy construction equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and forty-hour HAZPOWER training are a plus.
