Job Description
Position Overview
Allied Digital Services is seeking a full-time Deskside Technician – End User Computing who will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on end user computing and peripheral equipment at corporate locations. The role requires working on diverse assignments, analyzing data and hardware, and acting as a liaison between customers, departments, and internal teams. Compensation is $22.00 - $24.00 per hour and the work location is on-site (in person).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support to Authorized Users, ensuring operational and technical issues meet specified SLAs.
- Resolve incidents and problems associated with end user computing equipment.
- Utilize expertise with MacBook and Android devices to support users.
- Perform reactive troubleshooting to identify and eliminate potential issues.
- Assist in connecting users to corporate networks, including LAN, print, file, and WAN services.
- Repair and maintain mobile devices and other EUC equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, peripherals).
- Deliver software break/fix services and manage replacement of non-warranty assets.
- Configure network printers, scanners, and associated device settings.
- Provide VIP support for critical equipment and related accessories.
- Create, change, and remove printer configurations and queues in accordance with SLAs.
- Offer on-site troubleshooting and support for end user computing technologies.
- Maintain timely communication and coordinate with sales, operations, and branch personnel.
- Utilize problem management systems to track and report customer calls and requests.
- Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide additional deskside support services as required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience.
- Sound knowledge of imaging tools (Ghost, MDT) and data backup/recovery tools (USMT).
- Experience installing, upgrading, and maintaining Windows 11, MacBook, and Android devices.
- Proven ability to deploy Windows 11 and Google Workspace in large enterprises.
- Skilled in configuring hardware, applications, network connectivity, mobile computing, and backup/recovery options.
- Hands-on experience with Intune.
