Job Description
Position Overview
Comcast is a Fortune 50 leader at the forefront of media and technology, driving innovation to create the world's best entertainment and online experiences. In this role, you will provide subject matter expertise on the design and implementation of complex data network and voice solutions for business class customers across a national footprint. Collaborating with the sales team, you will translate complex technical requirements into clear, customer-friendly solutions and support the development of new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely technical support and problem resolution for national field service queries.
- Assist the Account Management and Sales teams in developing business strategies, including costing and pricing solutions, to acquire new customers and grow existing accounts.
- Design customer solutions that meet business application needs, ensure protected circuit design, disaster recovery, and plan for future bandwidth growth.
- Translate complex technical design requirements into clear information for customers.
- Serve as the national technical expert by reviewing RFP responses for content accuracy before submission.
- Provide technical support for national events and trade shows.
- Participate in technology transfer and training initiatives within the Sales Engineering group as new technologies are introduced.
- Develop and deliver effective presentations, lead meetings, and facilitate workshops with clients.
- Collaborate with Comcast Business Network Engineering, Product Engineering, and related teams to maintain a deep knowledge of Comcast Business products and procedures.
- Stay updated on technological trends, market evolution, and competitors’ activities.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Calnet, State, and Local Government purchasing methods.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in a critical, complex environment.
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance and work variable schedules including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
- 7-10 Years of relevant work experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or related roles.
- Expertise in Government Sales, Local Government processes, Pre-Sales Engineering, and Public Government.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Calnet, State and Local Government processes and purchasing methods.
