Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level HR Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to start your HR career while supporting our onboarding processes and HR operations. The ideal candidate will receive training on ADP systems and HR procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing new hire paperwork through ADP Workforce Now
- Help new employees navigate the ADP onboarding portal
- Perform background checks and drug screens
- Collect and verify employee documentation
- Support I-9 verification process
- Assist with organizing new hire orientation sessions
- Maintain employee files and records
- Answer basic HR-related questions from employees
- Schedule HR meetings and interviews
- Maintain HR calendar and appointments
- File and organize HR documents
- Assist with data entry in ADP and other HR systems
- Support HR team with various administrative tasks
- Help coordinate company events and activities
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous office administrative experience
- Basic knowledge of HR processes
