Position Overview

Great Place to Work, COMMISSION PAY ON TOP OF BASE SALARY!Tinius Olsen, a leading specialist manufacturer and supplier of static tension and/or compression materials testing machines, is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Calibration Technician. In this role, you will support a territory that includes, but is not limited to, Oklahoma and the surrounding states by performing calibration, installation, servicing, and repair of equipment at customer locations. You will work independently and be responsible for providing advanced field service support while using specialized and standard computer applications.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year | Job Type: Full-time | Work Location: On the road

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration, installation, servicing, and repair of equipment at customer locations.
  • Provide advanced field service support, including aligning, fitting, and assembling component parts.
  • Test the performance of electromechanical and hydraulic assemblies.
  • Conduct fault diagnostics and ensure accurate capture, recording, and analysis of calibration data in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Utilize both specialized and standard computer applications to support field service tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal technical training program and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
  • Electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally at all times.
  • Computer literate with experience in using industry-specific applications.
  • Must possess a clean, valid driver’s license; a valid passport is a plus and candidates must be willing to travel internationally as needed.
  • Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
  • Commission upon completion of training.
