Position Overview
The High Level Nightlife and Entertainment Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall success of the Company by supporting the General Manager in: (1) creating sales opportunities and promotions; (2) effective marketing of the restaurant to the general public; (3) ensuring the operations exceed our customers’ service standards and expectations; (4) effectively managing employee relations to promote high employee morale and a motivated workforce; (5) conforming to all regulatory and legal compliance obligations; (6) managing cost of goods, operating supply costs and labor costs; and (7) performing other duties as assigned by the general manager and executive management team.
Additional Information: All employees must wear the proper uniform and maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Company’s grooming standards. Must be able to work in an environment with constantly elevated temperatures, move quickly in tight spaces without disrupting others, and lift at least 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Set examples and standards for management team members regarding performance expectations, professionalism, operational awareness, and employee relations.
- Professionally administer operational departments and oversee a large number of employees by recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Establish the restaurant business plan by analyzing demand, evaluating competitors, and preparing financial, marketing, and sales projections.
- Manage accounting, financial, cash management, and payroll functions, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and corrective measures.
- Develop and implement marketing, advertising, and public relations programs to attract patrons.
- Control purchases and inventory by negotiating prices, developing supplier lists, and taking corrective action based on usage reports.
- Implement policies, standard operating procedures, and system improvements to maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain patron satisfaction through regular evaluation of food, beverage, and service offerings, and by building relationships with valued customers.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy facility by enforcing ServSafe and other sanitation standards, and by complying with health and legal regulations.
- Strictly enforce and comply with all regulatory, employment, wage and hour, and other legal compliance policies.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Teamwork and Toast POS system.
- Experience in developing budgets, decision making, process improvement, and strategic planning.
- Quality focus with the ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
- Proficient verbal communication skills and capability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage a large and diverse workforce while maintaining high staff morale.
- Knowledge of proper food handling requirements, bar and kitchen items, and all required legal documents (A.B.C., Health Department, Police, City, etc.).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience Required: Minimum of five years’ experience in a fast-paced restaurant/bar management role; must be at least 18 to meet state requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Requirements: Possession of a Food Handlers Card and ABC Service Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree preferred.
- CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred.
- Additional language skills preferred.

- Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 per year plus bonus program
