Job Description
Position Overview
The Sr. Project Manager Marketing Operations is responsible for driving operational excellence within DLA Piper’s Marketing and Business Development team. This role acts as a critical link between strategy formulation and execution, ensuring effective implementation of interdepartmental projects that enhance growth, brand reputation, and overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage MBD workstreams including the design, implementation, and launch of the firm’s Next-Gen CRM system to transform business development and marketing functions.
- Facilitate the MBD team’s realignment in support of firm strategy by developing detailed reorganization plans and ensuring transparent communication.
- Lead priority AI optimization projects by planning, executing, and tracking progress to achieve key performance metrics.
- Drive ongoing operational improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce redundancies, and enhance collaboration across the firm.
- Support budgeting, content development, conference strategy, and documentation efforts to promote efficient project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years’ project management experience.
- Exceptional project management skills demonstrated in fast-paced, deadline-driven professional services or law firm environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Co-Pilot, AI tools, and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment with a focus on marketing and business development.
- A proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and manage complex, multi-workstream projects.
