Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Sage Intacct Salesperson

with proven ERP leadership to spearhead new business development and practice growth. Drawing from extensive experience in building Sage Intacct divisions, managing product roadmaps, and consulting with hundreds of clients, you will qualify high-value leads, deliver compelling demos, and close deals that align technology with business objectives. This role emphasizes strategic sales in SaaS/ERP environments, with a focus on supply chain, manufacturing, and CRE verticals. Ideal for professionals with 20+ years in the industry, offering uncapped commissions and leadership opportunities in a collaborative, high-growth setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Lead Generation and Market Expansion: Leverage market research and data-driven insights to identify and qualify opportunities in target segments (e.g., manufacturing, CRE, nonprofits). Build and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, including outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn, informed by customer needs analysis and competitive benchmarking.
  • Prospecting and Value Articulation: Engage mid-market prospects (50-500 employees) by mapping current-state operations to Sage Intacct's capabilities, such as inventory management, order entry, purchasing, multi-entity support, and CRE-specific modules. Develop customized messaging and collateral to accelerate time-to-revenue.
  • Sales Pipeline and Deal Progression: Collaborate with account executives and cross-functional teams (marketing, implementation) to nurture leads, schedule tailored demos, and advance opportunities through the funnel. Achieve quarterly quotas for qualified pipeline and closed-won revenue, while managing risks and schedules for high-impact deals.
  • Product Demonstrations and Solution Selling: Lead interactive demos and presentations, prioritizing features based on client feedback and business vision. Function as a subject matter expert (SME) on Sage Intacct's supply chain, manufacturing, and CRE applications, drawing from hands-on experience in API integrations, ERP configurations, and operational mapping.
  • Client Relationship and Practice Building: Cultivate long-term partnerships with prospects, partners, and existing clients. Mentor junior sales staff on sales methodologies, contribute to hiring and training for practice rollout, and drive continuous improvement in sales processes and content quality.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the company at events, webinars, and partner programs, focusing on ERP ecosystems like Sage, Acumatica, and NetSuite to expand our network.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree: in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent, e.g., military technical training).
  • 10+ years: in ERP/SaaS sales, product management, or consulting, with direct Sage Intacct experience in sales, implementation, or practice leadership.
  • Proven success: in building ERP practices from the ground up, including staffing, operational design, and market entry strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Expertise: in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Sage CRM, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms; familiarity with development tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, and reporting (e.g., Crystal Reports).
  • Exceptional communication: and strategic problem-solving skills, with a track record of consulting 500+ clients on ERP implementations and transformations.
  • Self-starter: with adaptability in fast-paced, remote environments; military or leadership background a plus for disciplined execution.
  • Willingness to travel: up to 20% for client meetings, demos, or industry events.

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Sage Intacct certifications: Sales Consultant, CRE Sales/Implementation Consultant, Distribution & Manufacturing Operations (SDMO) certifications, and Product Champion status.
  • Hands-on experience: directing product roadmaps for supply chain/manufacturing modules (e.g., Inventory, Order Entry, Purchasing) and delivering GTM messaging for launches.
  • Background: in multi-ERP environments (Sage 100/300, Acumatica, NetSuite) with API/integration development and cloud services (e.g., AWS EC2, RDS).
  • Demonstrated ability: to manage cross-functional teams, write detailed requirement documents, and analyze solutions against competitors for business process optimization.
