Job Description

Position Overview

RevolutionParts is a pioneering force in the automotive eCommerce realm, empowering automotive brands to maximize online sales through streamlined, user-friendly solutions. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will drive the entire lifecycle of data analysis projects—from designing and developing complex analytical models to extracting actionable insights from large datasets. You'll work independently while collaborating with various business leaders to support key outcomes. This is a hybrid role requiring office presence in Tempe, Arizona, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of data analysis projects from requirements gathering to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and implement complex analytical models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior data analysts, fostering their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define data strategy, identify new data sources, and improve data quality.
  • Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Looker) to monitor key performance indicators and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement and monitor data governance and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used for analysis and reporting.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and optimize data retrieval processes to enhance analytical workflow performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience working on eCommerce-related data platforms.
  • MUST have DBT experience.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel) with hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
  • Experience working with large datasets, including data cleaning, manipulation, and build tools.
  • Ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Proven ability to translate data into clear, concise reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to quickly analyze issues, provide creative solutions, and make timely decisions.
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of new projects.
