Position Overview
Ball, a global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging with over 16,000 team members and recipient of Newsweek’s 2023 Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplace award, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, you will provide technical support on contract proposals while working cross functionally with our commercial and strategy teams, contributing to innovative projects and sustainable business practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Complies with established job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives.
- Provides Economic Value Added (EVA) based financial analysis for new and potential projects.
- Creates financial models on Excel spreadsheets to analyze and solve unique business challenges and presents the results to management.
- Identifies and executes continuous improvement opportunities.
- Owns financial processes around key statement line items, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting in collaboration with business partners.
- Establishes and maintains effective work relationships across departments, ensuring a productive and positive work environment.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance during assigned work hours.
- Updates customer pricing calculations related to contract administration and cost component changes.
- Completes ad-hoc projects and additional tasks as required by company needs.
- Ensures safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Broad training in a related field acquired through college or relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
- Ability to apply intensive and diversified financial evaluation techniques and adapt standard finance procedures accordingly.
- Working knowledge of finance, Essbase, Economic Value Added (EVA), business and economic principles, financial modeling, Excel, Word, JDE One World, and other applicable software applications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires in-person engagement three or more days per week.
- Hiring Salary Range: $74,600 - $104,160, determined by education, experience, and internal market alignment.
