Junior UX/UI Designer

Position Overview

Laasie is a rewards marketplace connecting consumers, hotels, and merchants to drive business growth for our partners. We are a fast-growing startup where every team member makes a valuable contribution from day one. We are seeking a Junior UX/UI Designer to design commerce-focused digital experiences for our clients. You will work on website content, loyalty platforms, and email templates to optimize performance and emotional engagement. You will report to the Product Designer and collaborate with client success and technology teams to deliver outstanding solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design content on client websites according to specifications and internal best practices.
• Create visually compelling mockups of the Laasie product on client websites.
• Understand request specifications and anticipate customer needs.
• Identify and document issues with designs.
• Leverage proprietary software to customize bespoke customer portals and email designs that align with clients’ brand guidelines.
• Conduct concept and usability testing, gathering feedback for improvement.
• Operate independently to support client work.
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems, including usability and findability challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role.
• Strong portfolio of visual and UX design projects.
• Proficient in design software (e.g., Figma).
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Understanding of email template builder platforms.
• Ability to gather and synthesize data to improve usability.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude and analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
• Project management skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
