Logistics Warehouse Associate

Position Overview

Logistics Warehouse Associates are a vital part of The Home Depot’s distribution network, responsible for ensuring merchandise is received, stored, and shipped safely and efficiently. They play a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations to meet store and customer demands. Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, conveyors, or other equipment.
• Sort, stage, and transport products to designated areas within the warehouse.
• Operate machinery and forklifts in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory and support inventory control procedures.
• Inspect products for damage or defects and report issues promptly.
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift and handle heavy items (50 lbs or more) frequently.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical endurance to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
