Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking to fill open roles: Email Marketing Specialist, Influencer Marketing Specialist, Content Planning Specialist, and Lifecycle Marketing Specialist. This job contributes to REI’s success by designing and implementing diverse, multi-channel marketing programs under the guidance of the Marketing Manager and in partnership with the Marketing Program Managers. The role involves tactical planning, resource management, creative development, recap analysis, and relationship management between external and internal partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages the development and communication of Annual Marketing Plans for assigned lines of business in support of business owner needs and REI’s Annual Business Plan.
- Contributes to strategy development in partnership with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Program Managers by authoring multi-channel marketing program plans for both customer and employee-facing initiatives.
- Orchestrates program plans throughout cross-divisional planning, execution, and recap phases, including ROI analysis where applicable.
- Manages relationships with external and internal business partners, including staff, vendors, clients, strategic partners, and agencies from concept through delivery.
- Shepherds the creative development process for deliverables that support marketing programs.
- Partners with other Marketing team members to ensure alignment and integration of marketing programs with seasonal campaigns and annual marketing initiatives.
- Evaluates partnership opportunities and proposals for strategic relevance and alignment with REI’s core values.
- Accounts for tracking the marketing budgets of all assigned programs and associated components.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated success with vendor relationships in a retail business model.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to apply insights to daily work.
- Proven ability to effectively plan and execute marketing programs.
- Experience blending analytical and creative thinking.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing or a relevant field (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office business applications.

- Pay Range: $63,300.00 - $101,500.00 per year.
