Distribution Center Worker

Role and Responsibilities:

In your role as a Distribution Center Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks that help organize and prepare materials for product displays. You will work alongside a team to pack, label, and prepare goods for shipment, while managing inventory and using necessary tools to maintain a steady flow of warehouse activities.

• Assist with organizing, stocking, and preparing materials such as cardboard and plastic for display setups.
• Use tools like hot glue guns, staplers, and zip ties to securely assemble display materials.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently operate and manage the co-packing line.
• Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs, requesting help with heavier items when necessary.
• Operate shrink wrap machines and banders to properly package products for shipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and work instructions to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Be prepared to stand for extended periods and handle a variety of physical tasks during your shift.
• Take on overtime opportunities during peak periods when additional help is needed.
• Maintain precision and attention to detail while managing inventory and preparing displays.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs consistently, with assistance available for heavier loads.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or physically demanding role is preferred.
• Comfortable standing for long periods (up to 8 hours) and engaging in physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Experience with basic tools such as staplers, glue guns, and zip ties is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with warehouse machinery, such as shrink wrap machines and banders.
• Experience in co-packing or assembly line operations.
• Familiarity with inventory management and packing procedures.
