Accountant - Entry Level

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Location: San Francisco, California. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly sales and use tax returns, property tax filings, and business license applications.
• Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end financial close processes.
• Analyze and organize raw data to determine appropriate tax jurisdictions and rates.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros, to manage and interpret financial data.
• Support tax preparers by uploading data into specialized software and ensuring accurate filings.
• Maintain electronic filing systems and organize records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Assist with filing extensions, e-filings, and miscellaneous administrative projects as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and reporting is accurate.
• Provide support for multi-state tax compliance and reporting activities.
