Job Description

  • Work Schedules/Hour Rotation - if necessary: The job necessitates a rotating shift schedule starting at 5:00 AM and ending at 5:30 PM
  • Workweeks commence on Monday and finish on Sunday, during week one the days in which an individual must work are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with Wednesday free
  • The second week includes a day of rest on Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday falling in the middle of the week and Thursday through Sunday completing the seven-day cycle
  • In a biweekly schedule, the standard working hours are 96.

Compensation:

Pay rates for this job vary depending on experience, but it can go up to $32.00 per hour. There may also be additional local benefits, such as a bonus for referring others to the position, and a supplementary week of pay.

General Purpose

In this position, the person in charge is accountable for leading a team, as well as troubleshooting and delivering swift preventive and corrective Warehouse Maintenance Technician to production lines, while also facilitating change-over.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively maintain and repair equipment by routinely checking for issues and carrying out preventative measures.
  • Upgrade and establish state-of-the-art instruments.
  • Reconstructing and building parts from raw materials is crucial for ensuring that machines and systems remain operational.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the facility and promote a clean and secure working area.
  • Monitor Inventory Levels: Apart from placing new orders, it is necessary to monitor the inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock. This monitoring can be done through the use of inventory management software or manually.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and communicate them to appropriate personnel to avoid delays or complications.
  • Effectuate the exchange of tools and the formation of production systems.

Qualifications:

  • The job requires a High School diploma or an equivalent credential.
  • Ideally, the most desired qualification for this job is a certification in the Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational field.
  • A minimum of 0-5 years of industrial maintenance experience is mandatory for this job opening.
  • One year or more of experience in mechanical and electrical fields is preferred for an applicant.
  • Candidates with knowledge of diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance are preferred.
  • Former involvement in a speedy industrial landscape.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with mechanical and technical operations.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • The capability to comply with the maker's specifications and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is preferred but not required.
  • The availability of hand tools may be necessary.
