Job Description

Position Overview

At Bank of America you will independently perform test work during highly complex audit activities for Wealth Management lines. In this role you will design and execute audit tests, assess business impacts, challenge management with your product, business and technical expertise, and establish key business partner relationships while fostering an inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the design and execution of business processes and controls associated with Wealth Management (including Private Bank and Merrill Wealth Management), including data extraction, documentation of audit work, and validating remediation efforts.
  • Execute audit strategy by defining audit scope and programs, leveraging automation and innovative methods efficiently.
  • Apply deep product, business, and technical expertise to challenge management and improve the control environment.
  • Assess business process impacts and recommend appropriate severity ratings for identified issues.
  • Support peer and team development through on-the-job training and by fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Establish key business partner relationships, primarily with line management, to deepen business knowledge.
  • Utilize innovative tools to complete audit activities more efficiently.

Required Qualifications

  • Highly preferred to have 1+ years of experience; CPA, SIE or CFIRS certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with financial services audit/compliance and/or front-line wealth management is ideal.

  • Compensation: Pay range: $85,000.00 - $102,900.00 annualized salary (offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set).
