Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team in North Carolina. The role involves ensuring the integrity, reliability, regulatory compliance, and alignment of our products with specifications. The successful candidate will apply total quality management tools and approaches to enhance our analytical and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of products to ensure integrity and reliability.
  • Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
  • Establish and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Monitor and enforce quality systems and controls.
  • Gather data and perform problem-solving to control and improve production quality.
  • Develop and maintain control plans and inspection work instructions.
  • Participate in and document problem-solving activities related to quality issues.
  • Devise sampling procedures and design forms for quality and reliability data.
  • Establish programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production and testing equipment.
  • Implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material.
  • Interface with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and vendors to resolve quality-related problems.
  • Provide computerized status reports on inspection activities and nonconforming items.
  • Compile and write training materials and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest codes and developments in testing and examination methods.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of quality engineering experience.
  • Education and training in Quality Disciplines such as Corrective Actions, Total Quality Management, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, DOE, SPC, and Print Reading.
  • Familiarity with Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plan Standards.
  • Knowledge of PPAP requirements, Dimensional studies, and gage/fixture studies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Greensboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
