Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and complex clinical lab tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—with adherence to established protocols.
  • Verify results for precision, address discrepancies, and ensure maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for subsequent testing as necessary.
  • Document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold stringent lab quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
  • Obtain ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment and maintain active certification.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, independent judgment, effective problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
