The IMDL Specialist is responsible for executing daily activities of intermodal freight by addressing both customer and carrier needs, while focusing on account growth and operational efficiency. Starting pay: $50,000 plus bonus eligibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Account Assignment & Knowledge: Execute daily operations for assigned intermodal accounts, understanding their growth strategies, goals, and contractual agreements.
• Load Management: Track all customer shipments, monitor the assigned portion of the load board, and ensure loads are covered and serviced properly.
• Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, updating clients on load status, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Communication: Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with internal teams and external partners using appropriate channels.
• Relationship Development: Develop strong relationships with customer contacts as well as drayage and rail partners.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and communication across logistics functions.
• Problem Solving & Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to freight movement, managing incidents and accessorials to maximize profit.
• Teamwork: Actively contribute to team goals and support workload for teammates as needed.
