Position Overview

Job Title: Entry-Level IT Network Engineer

Location:

Coppell, TX – Onsite (5 days a week, 40 hours/week)

Job Type:

Contract to Full-time
Compensation: Hourly pay $17/Hr

As a Help Desk Technician at Brillio, you will be the first line of support for internal users facing IT and network-related issues. In this role, you will assist with troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and connectivity problems while escalating complex issues to senior IT staff. This position offers a dynamic environment where your classroom knowledge meets real-world challenges, setting the stage for a fulfilling IT career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to IT support tickets and inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system
  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Assist users with Wi-Fi, VPN, printer, and email troubleshooting
  • Configure and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access
  • Escalate advanced issues to Network or Systems Administrators
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and procedures
  • Support onboarding/offboarding of employees including device setup and account creation

Required Qualifications

  • Recent graduate with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac OS environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or campus IT support experience
  • Exposure to help desk ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow)
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory or Office 365
