Position Overview

United Safety & Alarms is a trusted provider of fire and security alarm services, supporting several affiliated companies from the same office building. We value professionalism, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. In this full-time, in-office role, you will manage high volumes of communication, scheduling, and administrative tasks for United Safety & Alarms while also providing support to our affiliated businesses. Our technicians rely on your accuracy and our customers depend on your professionalism for a smooth service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, texts, and chats.
  • Create work orders, assign technicians, and schedule jobs efficiently.
  • Process payments and manage accounts receivable tasks.
  • Provide technicians with accurate, detailed job information.
  • Handle administrative support: ordering parts, warranty returns, and permit applications.
  • Assist management in resolving issues and improving workflows.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor under pressure.
  • Support multiple affiliated companies as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or higher preferred).
  • 2+ years’ experience in administrative support, dispatch, or customer service.
  • Alarm/security industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
