Gastroenterology with ERCP/EUS training - Baptist Health - Louisville, Kentucky

Position Overview

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained gastroenterologist to join their professional team in Louisville, KY. This role focuses on gastroenterology with subspecialties in ERCP and EUS, supported by a multidisciplinary team and state-of‐the‐art facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care with emphasis on ERCP and EUS procedures.
• Manage clinic sessions (1.5–2 days per week) and dedicated hospital time for scopes.
• Participate in a shared on-call schedule, including a 1:7 weekend call rotation.
• Support a high volume open access endoscopy program in a new ERCP and EUS Room within the Endo Suites.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient care and the GI Hospitalist program.

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Fellowship trained with specialized expertise in ERCP and EUS.
• Valid medical license to practice in Kentucky.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high volume endoscopy setting.
• Prior hospital-based practice experience.
• Familiarity with shared on-call rotations and weekend call schedules.
